Held every other year on March 11 -- which has the calendar date 3/11 -- 311 Day is a celebration of all things 311. This year's celebration will feature the guests of honor "play[ing] an extended setlist of hits, rarities, covers and classics; backed by a state-of-the-art light and effects show," according to a press release. If the 2016 edition of 311 Day is anything like years past, you can also expect "circus performers, aerial acrobats, fire twirlers, brass bands and drumlines."

Over the summer, 311 released Archive, an 81-track box set of unreleased songs, B-sides, bonus tracks, pre-production recordings, alternate versions and demos, in honor of their 25th anniversary. The band also celebrated their silver anniversary with a summer tour.

311's last album was 2014's Stereolithic.
