Alex Turner Guests on Song from Queens of the Stone Age Offshoot

Electro Magnetic/Capitol RecordsArctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner has lent his voice to "Vertigo," the new track from the band Mini Mansions, which features Queens of the Stone Age bassist Michael Shuman. Turner gives the track a slinky vibe that is sure to please fans of his work with Arctic Monkeys. You can listen to "Vertigo" now on YouTube.

"Vertigo" isn't Tuner's first partnership with a QOTSA member. Frontman Josh Homme co-produced Arctic Monkey's third album, Humbug, which helped facilitate the band's shift from the garage rock feel of their first two albums to the heavier, more riff-based sound they're now known for.

Mini Mansions isn't new to high profile collaborations, either. Beach Boys vocalist Brian Wilson contributed his talents to their track "Any Emotions."

Both "Vertigo" and "Any Emotions" will be featured on Mini Mansions' forthcoming album, The Great Pretenders, which will be released on March 23.
