Alt-J, Modest Mouse and Hozier to Headline Inaugural WayHome Festival

Credit: Gabriel GreenIf the recently announced Amnesia Rockfest lineup is too hard rock-focused for your tastes, then perhaps you'll find another Canadian festival, WayHome, more suitable to your musical palate. The inaugural WayHome Music and Arts Festival, which will be held just outside Barrie, Ontario, will be headlined by Alt-J, Modest Mouse and Hozier.

Passion Pit, The Decemberists, St. Vincent, Vance Joy, Future Islands, The Gaslight Anthem, Walk the Moon, Cold War Kids and many more also appear on the lineup.

WayHome is a collaboration between AC Entertainment, which produces Bonnaroo, and Canadian entertainment company Republic Live.

"Our initial line-up clearly establishes WayHome as one of North America's premiere music and arts festivals and provides a strong foundation to build upon for the future," says AC Entertainment CEO Ashley Capps in a statement.

WayHome will be held July 24-26 at Burl's Creek Event Grounds, outside of Barrie, Ontario in Canada. Tickets will go on sale February 16 at noon ET via WayHome.com.
