The event will also feature an auction featuring artwork from Rancid's Tim Armstrong and Kim Gordon and performances by Bruno Mars and Rufus Wainwright.

The Silverlake Conservatory of Music is a Los Angeles based music school with 700 students enrolled, 200 of whom attend for free.

"This is our time, this is our children's time," says Flea, who founded the organization in 2001, in a statement. "Come celebrate with us and help build great music education for all children in Los Angeles. The Silverlake Conservatory of Music is for all of us."

The benefit will be held November 1 in Beverly Hills.
