Arcade Fire has unveiled a new clip from their forthcoming feature-length documentary, The Reflektor Tapes. The nearly three-minute video shows Win Butler and company recording their single "Afterlife" cut with footage of the band performing the song live. You can watch the clip now on YouTube.
The Reflektor Tapes documents Arcade Fire's tour in support of their 2013 album, Reflektor. Kahlil Joseph, known for his work with rapper Kendrick Lamar and electronic musician and producer Flying Lotus, will direct the film.
"There were parts of the Reflektor tour where I think we, Arcade Fire, came the closest in our careers to putting on stage what we imagined in our heads," states the band. "We were insanely lucky to have Kahlil Joseph documenting from the very beginning."
The Reflektor Tapes will hit theaters on September 23.
