The band won Best Headliner, beating out the likes of Jack White, Queens of the Stone Age, Imagine Dragons, The Black Keys, and Pearl Jam. They also won Festival Anthem of the Year for their single, "R U Mine?"

Royal Blood, Hozier and Milky Chance were all nominated for Newcomer of the Year, but they lost out to Danish pop singer .

Arctic Monkeys won Best Headliner at the European Festival Awards for the second straight year. Previous Best Headliner winners include Foo Fighters, Coldplay and Muse.

After recently completing an 18-month tour in support of their 2013 album, AM, Arctic Monkeys don't currently have any tour dates, festival or otherwise, scheduled for 2015. The year won't be completely uneventful for Alex Turner and company, however -- the band's single, "Do I Wanna Know?," is nominated for Best Rock Performance at this year's Grammy Awards.
