The band has released a 90-second clip previewing a new release called This Is Bat Country, which, from the looks of it, could be live DVD. The teaser show A7X rocking out live at the U.K.'s Download Festival in between shots of giant crowds, all set to a voice-over from frontman M. Shadows. You can watch the clip now on YouTube.
"Music is a journey, and a journey takes you places that you'd never thought you would go, and sometimes it brings you right back to square one," Shadows says in the teaser. "I think it keeps life exciting and if your favorite band can't be exciting, then what can be?"
The teaser concludes by telling you to stay tuned to AvengedSevenfold.com, which the band recently relaunched with new content. You can hear Shadows explain the functions of the band's new website on YouTube.
Avenged Sevenfold's last release was their 2013 album, Hail to the King.
