Credit: Clay Patrick McBride The new edition of the Guitar Hero video game series, Guitar Hero Live, will feature a mode called GHTV Premium Shows, which allows you to play along with actual concert footage. One of the bands to be featured in the Premium Shows mode is Avenged Sevenfold. If you pre-order Guitar Hero Live, you'll be able to virtually rock out with M. Shadows and company to their songs "Shepherd of Fire," "Buried Alive" and "Nightmare" in Premium Shows mode.
These three tracks will be accompanied by concert footage from Avenged Sevenfold's headlining set at the U.K.'s Download Festival in front of 70,000 fans.
GHTV Premium Shows will feature songs and footage from more bands to be announced. As for the rest of the game, Guitar Hero Live will feature playable songs from The Black Keys, Weezer, Royal Blood, System of a Down, Soundgarden, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against the Machine, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Halestorm and many more.
Guitar Hero Live will be released for consoles on October 20. The game will also be released on mobile devices this fall.
