Image Courtesy of Brown/ColumbiaBand of Horses has stampeded back to the studio. The band posted on Facebook that they hope to release the new album -- BoH's fifth -- by the end of 2015.
"We're excited to tell you that we are in the studio working on a new album that we hope to release later in the coming year," the post reads. "We can’t wait to finish this thing up and get it out to y'all!"
The new album will be produced by Jason Lytle, who fronts the indie rock band Grandaddy. BoH has also collaborated with Lytle to release a new Christmas song, entitled "Hang an Ornament." You can listen to "Hang an Ornament" on the BoH SoundCloud page.
Band of Horses' last album was 2012's Mirage Rock, which peaked at number four on Billboard's Alternative Albums chart.
