Image Courtesy of Alex LakeBastille and Imagine Dragons have a lot in common: they're both are known for big, bombastic singles; they both made the top three on Billboard's list of this year's Top Rock Artists; and they both agree on the best song of 2014: Hozier's "Take Me to Church."
In a video for Billboard, both Imagine Dragons' Dan Reynolds and Bastille's Will Farquarson name the Irish singer-songwriter's gospel-tinged rocker as their favorite track of the year.
"Hozier's 'Take Me to Church' I think is just brilliant," Reynolds says.
"His whole album's really good, actually," adds Farquarson. "And he's got cool hair."
The opinion that "Take Me to Church" is among 2014's best songs is a popularly held one, as the track was nominated for Song of the Year for the 2015 Grammys.
