Bastille, Tame Impala, The Libertines & More to Headline First Lollapalooza Berlin

Credit: Jesse JenkinsThe inaugural European Lollapalooza, taking place in Berlin, now has a lineup. Bastille, Tame Impala, The Libertines, CHVRCHES, Belle & Sebastian, My Morning Jacket, MS MR, Glass Animals and more will play the first ever Lollapalooza Berlin.

Also on the Lolla Berlin lineup is FFS, which is collaboration between Franz Ferdinand and the long-running rock/new wave band Sparks.

Lollapalooza, founded by Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell, began as a touring festival before taking up permanent residence in Chicago in 2005. Since then, the festival has expanded to South America with Lollapaloozas in Chile, Argentina and Brazil. Lollapalooza Berlin is the festival's first foray into Europe.

Lollapalooza Berlin will be held September 12-13 at Tempelhof Airport.
