Credit: Peter HapakBeck's latest single, "Dreams," shows off his funkier side, but he'll be channeling his folk influences at the Echo in the Canyon tribute concert, an all-star concert that will pay homage to the bands who helped usher in the Southern California folk-rock movement, such as The Byrds, The Beach Boys, Buffalo Springfield and The Mamas & the Papas.
The concert will also feature performances by Fiona Apple, Cat Power, Regina Spektor and The Wallflowers frontman -- and Bob Dylan's son -- Jakob Dylan. It will be held October 12 at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles. Tickets will go on sale October 2 at 10 a.m PT via Ticketmaster.com.
