Ben Gibbard share his love for Frightened Rabbit in new “Tiny Changes” mini documentary

ABC/Randy HolmesDeath Cab for Cutie's Ben Gibbard was one of the many artists to contribute to Tiny Changes, a tribute album to the Scottish indie band Frightened Rabbit's 2008 album The Midnight Organ Fight.  The project was recorded in memory of the group's late frontman, Scott Hutchison. Gibbard also stars in a new mini documentary about the project.

In the nearly 24-minute video, also titled Tiny Changes, Gibbard explains that when he first heard The Midnight Organ Fight, the album "completely arrested me" and "stopped me in my tracks."

"I was just so inspired by it," he says. "The record just grabbed you by the shirt and just pulled you off the ground. It felt like flying, listening to that record."

The doc, which is streaming now on YouTube, also features a number of other artists who contributed to the Tiny Changes album, including Biffy Clyro, Sarah Silverman and The Hold Steady's Craig Finn.

The Tiny Changes album is out now.
