Sadly, one of Corgan's cats, Sammi, recently passed away. In happier news, Corgan has adopted two new kittens from a PAWS Chicago adoption center.
"I'll admit it's been very tough on me since we lost Sammi, but thanks to @PAWSchicago I've got 2 new, healthy kittens to chase after!" Corgan writes on his Twitter. The names of the new kittens are Angelface and Diamond Baby.
In other Billy Corgan news, The Smashing Pumpkins have completed recording the basic tracks for their next album. Corgan revealed the news on Twitter, saying that he'll be recording the vocals on the 10-track album this August or September.
Corgan and The Pumpkins will be touring this summer with Marilyn Manson on what has been dubbed The End Times tour. While you may not see any cats on the End Times tour, Corgan said in a recent Reddit Ask Me Anything session that he and Manson both "love cats more than women."
