Bishop Briggs can’t wake up in “Dream” video

Credit: Jabari JacobsBishop Briggs has premiered the video for her new single, "Dream." The Wes Anderson-inspired clip follows the singer-songwriter as she walks through an endless house while accompanied by an ever-growing group of musicians. You can watch the video now on YouTube.

"It was really important that 'Dream' kept the balance of strength and total vulnerability -- which was my exact headspace when it was being written," says Briggs in a statement.

"It's a rare moment when you truly feel that the visual matches the words you've written on the paper but I think [director] Dano [Cerny] proves that there can be perfect harmony between the worlds."

"Dream" is the first single from Bishop's forthcoming debut album, which is due out spring 2018. Earlier this year, she released an EP featuring the singles "River" and "Wild Horses."

Briggs is currently on tour through North America, playing dates with Alt-J and Bleachers.
