Björk Announces New Album, “Vulnicura”

Image Courtesy of Elektra RecordsBjörk has taken to social media to reveal the details of her new album. Entitled Vulnicura, the record will be released in March.

Posting a handwritten note on her Facebook page, the enigmatic Icelandic singer also listed the names of the tracks that will appear on Vulnicura: "Stonemilker," "Lionsong," "History of Touches," "Black Lake," "Family," "Notget," "Atom Dance," "Mouth Mantra," and "Quicksand."

Also in March, the Museum of Modern Art in New York City is launching a retrospective to run March 8 to June 7, dedicated to Björk's career. As the MoMA retrospective wraps up, Björk will play the Governors Ball Music festival, happening June 5-7 on NYC's Randall's Island.

Björk's last album was 2011's Biophilia, which was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album at the 2013 Grammys.
