Björk has released her video for her track "Lionsong," off of her latest album, Vulnicura. The video, Björk's first since 2012, is typically weird, featuring the Icelandic singer dancing around while wearing the same elaborate latex-and-feathers costume with a vertical slash in the sternum that she sports on the Vulnicura album cover. You can watch the "Lionsong" video now at Noisey.com.
"Björk's character for 'Lionsong' had to be smooth like a spider waiting in her web and seductive like a Balinese dancer cast in bronze," says Dutch directing team Inez & Vinoodh. "She is seen as if under a microscope, baring her heart while luring us inside the bloody galaxy of her own wound."
Vulnicura, her first album since 2011's Grammy-nominated Biophilia, was released digitally earlier this year. The album will be released physically on March 23.
In other Björk happenings, the Museum of Modern Art exhibition based on her career debuted last week. The exhibition will be open through June.
