Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus trapped inside home due to “burglary gone bad”

ABC/Paula LoboBlink-182 bassist/vocalist Mark Hoppus is not having a great Monday morning. The musician and his family have been stuck in their Southern California home as police search for suspects in a "burglary gone bad" who are apparently hiding in their neighborhood.

"Woke up to police loudspeaker saying 'This is your last chance. Come out with your hands up,'" Hoppus wrote in an Instagram Story. "Burglary gone bad and suspects hiding around our house. We've been told to lock the doors and get to a safe place. Helicopters now."

"Helicopters. Dogs. Police outside our windows with their guns drawn," he added, before describing how more officers in "tactical gear" had arrived on the scene.

Hoppus' latest update came at approximately 10:25 a.m. ET, and reads, "Helicopter left for a minute but is back now. Police have apprehended all but one suspect. They shut down our street for the next two to three hours."
