ABC/Alycia MonacoKorn has been working on a new album, the follow-up to 2016's The Serenity of Suffering. According to guitarist Brian "Head" Welch, the nu-metallers got an assist from Blink-182's Travis Barker during the recording process.
Speaking with Revolver, Welch reveals that Korn had written some songs for the album with producer John Feldmann, who's frequently worked with Blink.
"Travis Barker laid the temporary drums for some [demos], and that was cool," Welch says.
As for when you'll get to hear the finished album, Head estimates a fall 2019 release.
"We have to get it out, because we want to get back to the fans next year and do our thing," he says. "We're working hard. We've been through a lot. Now it's time to get all those emotions and turn them into a positive with music."
