Brandon Flowers and Iggy Pop will lend their vocal talents to New Order's forthcoming album, Music Complete. The Killers frontman will guest on a song called "Superheated," while the Godfather of Punk sings on the track "Stray Dog."
Flowers' music, both solo and with The Killers, is heavily influenced by New Order and the band that gave it birth, Joy Division. In fact, he named The Killers after the band featured in New Order's "Crystal" video. Pop is also a fan, having performed Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart" with New Order's Bernard Sumner at the Tibet House benefit in New York City last year.
Along with the special guests on Music Complete, New Order has also revealed plans for a European tour this fall. The month-long trek begins November 4 in Paris and will conclude November 24 in Wolverhampton, England. Visit NewOrder.com for all ticket info.
