It's a new dawn for Breaking Benjamin. Dark Before Dawn, the band's first new album in six years, is on pace to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 with an estimated 140,000 in sales and album-equivalent streams in its first week.
Breaking Benjamin's last album, 2009's Dear Agony, debuted at number four on the Billboard 200. If the predictions hold true, Dark Before Dawn will be Breaking Benjamin's first number-one album. The band's previous peak on the Billboard 200 came courtesy of their 2006 album Phobia, which debuted at number two.
Dark Before Dawn features the lead single "Failure," which has led Billboard's Mainstream Rock Songs chart for seven straight weeks.
Breaking Benjamin will be touring in support of Dark Before Dawn with a run of acoustic dates starting July 1 in Asheville, North Carolina. The band will begin a proper electric tour on July 14 in Big Flats, New York.
