"With this record, we wanted to be more transparent," says frontman Matt Shultz in a statement. "We wanted to capture the sentiment of each song, and whatever emotional response it provoked, to be really honest to that."

Tell Me I'm Pretty, which will be produced by The Black Keys frontman Dan Auerbach, is available for pre-order now at PledgeMusic.com. Perks include signed guitars, online video game sessions, and Skype instrumental lessons with Cage the Elephant band members.

Cage the Elephant's last album, Melophobia, was released in 2013. It was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album at the 2015 Grammys but lost out to St. Vincent's self-titled album. Melophobia also boasted two number-one hits on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart in "Cigarette Daydreams" and "Come a Little Closer," the latter of which also reached the top 10 on the Mainstream Rock Songs chart.
