42 WestChris Cornell has added two more stops to his North American acoustic tour in support of his new album, Higher Truth. The new dates will take place September 17 at the Orpheum Theatre in Phoenix and September 18 at the Balboa Theatre in San Diego. Visit ChrisCornell.com for ticket details.
The Phoenix show will be the new opening date on Cornell's North American trek; the original announcement listed his September 20 show in Los Angeles as the first show on the tour.
Just like with his other Higher Truth shows, $1 from every ticket sold will benefit the Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation, which the Soundgarden frontman created with his wife to help children vulnerable to homelessness, poverty, abuse or neglect.
Higher Truth, Cornell's fifth solo album, will be released September 18.
