Wind-Up RecordsCivil Twilight's new album, Story of an Immigrant, will be released later this week, but you can get a few days head start delving into it on Spin.com, where the album is now streaming in full.
Story of an Immigrant is Civil Twilight's third album. The album's lead single, "Holy Dove," is currently charting at Alternative Rock radio. Civil Twilight's last record, 2012's Holy Weather, featured the single "Fire Escape."
"Within the writing process, a certain theme and feel began to appear among the lyrics and the music," frontman Steven McKellar tells Spin of Story of an Immigrant. "Themes of freedom and discovery within the looking back and the moving forward and, ultimately, landing in the brightness and excitement of the present."
Story of an Immigrant will be released officially on July 10 -- the first day the new Friday global album release date will be implemented.
