In a statement describing "Love Is Mystical," vocalist Nathan Willett says the song is "about supernatural love -- looking for inspiration and meaning, surrendering to feeling, love calling out your name and that journey we must go on to find it."
L.A. Divine is the sixth studio album from Cold War Kids, and their first since 2014's Hold My Home. The band will be touring the U.S. this spring in support of L.A. Divine, beginning March 3 at the Okeechobee Festival in Florida.
