Credit: Phil HarveyColdplay is turning back the clocks. The band has unveiled The Coldplay Timeline, an interactive history of the group starting from their first rehearsal in 1998 to the present day. You can dive into the history of Coldplay at Timeline.Coldplay.com.
The Coldplay Timeline includes never before seen photos and videos. It also lists every one of the over 900 shows Coldplay has played, and allows you to upload your own photos of the gigs you've attended.
The latest entry in The Coldplay Timeline is a note from the band confirming that their next album will be called A Head Full of Dreams, which they're currently recording. Frontman Chris Martin previously revealed A Head Full of Dreams as a possible title for the Coldplay's Ghost Stories follow-up in an interview with Zane Lowe last December.
In that same interview, Martin also announced that A Head Full of Dreams will be "the completion of something," which seemed to imply that the album could possibly be Coldplay's last. The fears that Coldplay will only release one more album will probably not be assuaged by The Coldplay Timeline, which certainly is a retrospective, nostalgic look at the band's past.
