Credit: Phil HarveyIt looks like the road to Coldplay's A Head Full of Dreams will be paved by cryptic social media posts. After posting a completely silent 35-second video seemingly confirming the new album's cover, Coldplay has shared a new video featuring short snippets of new music, which you can listen to now on the band's Facebook page.
The clip is just one riff repeated over and over again for over 30 seconds, but sounds very different from the traditional Coldplay sound, almost veering into Daft Punk territory. The music is also accompanied by some very striking rainbow artwork, which features everything from toucans, to children hanging off of Saturn's ring.
Coldplay captions the post with the hastags #AOAL and #AHFOD, that latter of which presumably stands for A Head Full of Dreams.
A Head Full of Dreams will be Coldplay's seventh and possibly final album. It's rumored to be released December 4.
