A Coldplay winter is coming.
As previously reported, Coldplay will appear on NBC's "Red Nose Day," a three-hour live event designed to raise money for charity organizations that focus on helping children and young people in the U.S. and around the world lift themselves out of poverty. As for what that appearance will entail, Chris Martin and company will put on a sketch that they wrote featuring actors from the hit HBO fantasy drama Game of Thrones.
The sketch, which is unfortunately not named "Ghost Stories: Tales of Jon Snow's Direwolf," is called "Game of Thrones: The Musical." Among the Game of Thrones actors to appear on the "Red Nose Day" broadcast who could potentially show up in "Game of Thrones: The Musical" include Kit Harington, Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Emilia Clarke.
"Red Nose Day," which began in the U.K. 30 years ago, is making its American debut this year. The event will benefit 12 charities, including Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the National Urban League, Save the Children and United Way.
The "Red Nose Day" event will air on NBC on May 21 at 8 p.m. ET.
