Credit: Bobby TongsCorey Taylor will embark on a solo tour in support of his new book, You're Making Me Hate You, this July. Each show on the trek, which begins July 7 in New York City, will include readings, acoustic performances and audience discussion. Visit TheCoreyTaylor.com for ticket info.

"Whether it's people’s rude behavior in restaurants and malls, the many indignities of air travel, eye-searingly terrible fashion choices, dangerously clueless drivers and -- most of all -- the sorry state of much modern music, Taylor's humor and insight cover civil society’s seeming decline -- sparing no one along the way, least of all himself," reads the official description of You're Making Me Hate You.

You're Making Me Hate You, which will be released on July 7, is the third book from the Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman. Taylor's previous books, 2011's Seven Deadly Sins and 2013's A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Heaven, were both New York Times bestsellers.

Taylor is currently on tour with Slipknot. After his solo tour, he'll reconvene with the Knot for the Summer's Last Stand tour with Lamb of God, Bullet for My Valentine and Motionless in White. Summer's Last Stand begins July 24 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
