"Outta My Mind," the latest single from The Black Keys frontman's new project, begins with the line "Good morning children, welcome to school" before launching into a psychedelic guitar riff. "Outta My Mind" follows The Arcs' first single, "Stay in My Corner." Both songs will be available on The Arcs' debut album, Yours, Dreamily, which will be released on September 4.
On July 10, The Arcs will release "Outta My Mind" on vinyl as a seven-inch single. The single will also include the song "My Mind," which will not appear on Yours, Dreamily.
In the meantime, The Black Keys have four more festival dates on their summer touring schedule. Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney will headline Canada's Pemberton, Rock the Shores and Osheaga festivals in July before wrapping things up August 8 at San Francisco's Outside Lands festival.
