Image Courtesy of Cliff Lipson/CBSFoo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl stopped by The Late Late Show Monday night and was met with a surprise. Along with host James Corden, Grohl and his fellow guests -- Furious 7 actress Jordana Brewster and The Office actor Rainn Wilson -- sketched a live nude model. You can watch the results, which feature a fair amount of giggling, now on YouTube.
In the midst of the sketching, Corden asked Brewster, who is Brazilian, what kind of music Grohl should explore if Foo Fighters were to do a season of Sonic Highways in Brazil. Grohl then mentioned that one of his favorite metal bands, Sepultura, is from Brazil.
"They're amazing, but one of the crazy things they did, they made this album called Roots," Grohl said of Sepultura. "They incorporated crazy Brazilian instrumentation into the heaviest music you've ever heard in your life. It kind of changed the game, it was the heaviest thing ever."
In addition to being a big fan of their music, Grohl wrote the foreword to former Sepultura frontman Max Cavalera's autobiography, My Bloody Roots: From Sepultura to Soulfly and Beyond.
The first season of Sonic Highways, a documentary series that followed the Foo Fighters from city to city as they recorded their new album of the same name, is now available on Blu-ray/DVD.
