Credit: We Are the RhoadsDeath Cab for Cutie have premiered the video for their single "Black Sun." The clip features frontman Ben Gibbard directing an action movie that requires an actor to be run over by a car repeatedly. Blood is spilled, and some feelings are definitely hurt. "Black Sun" is the first single from the band's forthcoming album, Kintsugi, which will be released March 31.
In other DCFC news, the band has added a few extra shows to their tour in support of Kintsugi. In addition to the previously reported Madison Square Garden show, Gibbard and company will play Detroit on May 5, the legendary Red Rocks in Morrison, Colorado, on July 15, and a date in Seattle on October 5.
