Born and Bred RecordsDropkick Murphys are back in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 thanks to their new album, 11 Short Stories of Pain & Glory. The ninth studio effort from the Boston punk rockers enters the chart at number eight, with 26,000 equivalent album units, 24,000 of which were pure album sales.
11 Short Stories is the third straight Dropkick Murphys album to debut in the Billboard 200's top 10, following 2013's Signed and Sealed in Blood and 2011's Going Out in Style, which peaked at a career-high number six on the chart.
Dropkick Murphys will be touring the U.S. in support of 11 Short Stories starting in February. The trek will conclude with the band's annual run of shows in Boston for the week of St. Patrick's Day.
