Evanescence has returned. Amy Lee and company will play Ozzfest Japan this November for the band's first performance since they went on hiatus in 2012.
While Evanescence has been on a break, Lee has kept quite busy. Last year, she released Aftermath, the soundtrack for the indie film, War Story. She also gave birth to her first child, son Jack.
Evanescence will join previously announced bands Korn and Ozzy Osbourne at Ozzfest Japan. Originally, Black Sabbath was revealed as the festival's headliner in what was being billed as the band's "farewell." However, Sabbath announced earlier this month they wouldn't perform at Ozzfest Japan, and that Ozzy & Friends would play instead.
Ozzfest Japan will be held November 21-22 in Makuhari Messe, outside of Tokyo.
