Credit: P.R. BrownEvanescence has postponed the band's European co-headlining tour with Within Temptation to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The joint outing was originally scheduled to launch this past April before being moved to this coming fall. It will now kick off in September of next year.
There is one silver lining to the postponement: Amy Lee and company will be working on finishing the new Evanescence album, The Bitter Truth, during the time they would've been on the road.
"We are so disappointed that we won't be seeing you this fall, but we're accepting the challenge 2020 is giving us and pouring our time and hearts into making a great album instead," the band says. "Friends, we miss you terribly and can't wait to play these songs for you next year!"
