Credit: Dustin Rabin Faith No More is releasing deluxe editions of their 1989 breakthrough album, The Real Thing, and its follow-up, 1992's Angel Dust. The reissues will be released June 9, with vinyl versions coming out in August.
The deluxe editions of The Real Thing and Angel Dust will both include a bonus disc featuring live tracks and other rarities. The bonus The Real Thing disc will feature remixed versions of "Falling to Pieces" and FNM's first big single, "Epic," as well as live versions of "Surprise You're Dead," "Underwater Love," and the band's take on the Black Sabbath classic, "War Pigs."
Meanwhile, the bonus Angel Dust disc includes covers of the Dead Kennedys song "Let's Lynch The Landlord," as well as "Easy," a 1977 #1 hit for Lionel Richie's Commodores.
As for new Faith No More music, the band is gearing up for the May 19 release of Sol Invictus, their first new album in 18 years. Currently, FNM is on their first North American tour since 2010, the first leg of which wraps up May 15 in Philadelphia. The band will return to the U.S. on July 26 in Austin, Texas
