Credit: Pamela LittkyFall Out Boy prepares themselves for battle in New Politics' video for "West End Kids." Patrick Stump and company pay tribute to Mortal Kombat in the newly released clip, which you can watch now at Billboard.com.
"This video pays homage to our favorite classic video games," New Politics bassist Søren Hansen tells Billboard. The clip also references the Grand Theft Auto and Legend of Zelda series. "I've lost count of how many hours of my life I've spent playing, but bringing them to life has been a surreal experience for us. Plus, getting to kick Fall Out Boy's a** was pretty awesome."
The "West End Kids" video also features an appearance from Panic! at the Disco frontman Brandon Urie. "West End Kids" will appear on New Politics' new album Vikings, which will be released on August 14.
Fall Out Boy is currently in the midst of their massive Boys of Zummer tour. New Politics will hit the road with Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness this fall.
