The finalists in the top categories for the 2015 Billboard Music Awards were announced Tuesday morning on ABC's Good Morning America by Ludacris, who's hosting the awards show, and Pete Wentz, whose band Fall Out Boy is the first artist announced to perform on the telecast.
"We're gonna play our song 'Uma Thurman' for the first time on TV," Pete told GMA's Lara Spencer. "Our buddy Wiz Khalifa is gonna come out and do something in it with us, so it'll be awesome." Fall Out Boy and Wiz Khalifa are also touring together this summer.
The rest of the finalists will be announced starting at 12 pm ET by the awards show's co-host, Chrissy Teigen, as well as Empire's Jussie Smollett, on Twitter at @OfficialBBMAs. So far, Fall Out Boy hasn't been announced as a nominee, but no rock categories were revealed on GMA.
