Fall Out Boy Makes First Top-Ten Appearance on Hot 100 Since 2007

Credit: Pamela LittkyIt didn't take centuries for Fall Out Boy to return to the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, but it did take more than seven years. With their single "Centuries," FOB makes their first appearance in the 90th percentile of the Hot 100 since 2007, when "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race" hit number two -- the band's highest position on the chart to date.

"Centuries," which jumps from number 12 to number 10 this week, is the lead single from FOB's most recent album, American Beauty/American Psycho. The album is similarly enjoying great success, as it debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Following number one debuts for 2007's Infinity on High and 2013's Save Rock and Roll, FOB now has three total -- and two straight -- number one albums.

In addition to "Centuries" and "This Ain't a Scene," FOB scored two more top-10 Hot 100 hits: "Dance, Dance" and "Sugar, We're Goin' Down" -- both from the band's 2005 breakout album, From Under the Cork Tree.

If you'd like to catch "Centuries" live, Fall Out Boy will be launching their Boys of Zummer tour this June.
