Last year saw the release of excellent albums by a variety of rock artists, and it looks as if plenty more will be arriving in 2015.
2015 looks to be an exciting year right out of the gate with four big releases on January 20 -- Fall Out Boy's American Beauty/American Psycho, Marilyn Manson's The Pale Emperor, Sleater-Kinney's No Cities to Love and The Decemberists What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World. S-K's new album will be their first since 2005's The Woods.
A week later, Papa Roach will release F.E.A.R. on January 27.
February and March look to be equally well stocked, with Imagine Dragons releasing their sophomore album, Smoke + Mirrors, on February 17. Additionally, All That Remains will release The Order of Things on February 24 and Modest Mouse and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will release Strangers to Ourselves and Chasing Yesterday, respectively, on March 3.
As for albums without firm release dates, Coldplay's Chris Martin has said that the band will be releasing a new record in the upcoming year entitled A Head Full of Dreams. He added that the album will be "the completion of something," hinting that the band could call it quits after the album's release.
Faith No More, The Smashing Pumpkins and Band of Horses also have new albums slated for a 2015 release.
