Fall Out Boy has added another sporting event to their schedule. On April 5, the Chicago band will perform at Wrigley Field for MLB's opening night game between the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals, according to E!.
"When our band all lived in an apartment together in Roscoe Village, we used to pass out fliers for shows at the Metro after games," says Pete Wentz. "It has been a lifetime dream to get the chance to play at Wrigley Field. We are grateful to MLB for the opportunity and so excited to perform for our hometown crowd."
Fall Out Boy will perform their hit "Uma Thurman," their Save Rock and Roll track "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light 'em Up)" and, of course, the jock-jam of 2015, "Centuries."
Earlier this year, Fall Out Boy played a pre-Super Bowl party, as well as the NHL All-Star Game. Perhaps the band will try to hit for the American sports cycle by performing during the NBA Finals, too.
