Credit: Magdalena WosinskaFollowing 2018's A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships, The 1975 plans to release another album called Notes on a Conditional Form sometime this year, and we now know when we'll get to hear the first single.
Speaking to Apple Music's Beats 1, frontman Matty Healy reveals that the lead Notes track will arrive on May 31. As for what the track will be, he adds that he and the rest of the band are currently trying to choose between three songs.
When the song does arrive, The 1975 will be in the middle of their U.S. tour in support of A Brief Inquiry, which begins April 12 at Coachella.
A Brief Inquiry, meanwhile, just won British Album of the Year at Wednesday's Brit Awards, the U.K. equivalent of the Grammys.
