Fitz and the Tantrums advocate for reaching out with new song, “I Need Help!”

ABC/Eric McCandlessFitz and the Tantrums have released a new song called "I Need Help!", a track from the band's forthcoming fourth studio album.

You can download the tune, which is about the power of reaching out to others, now via digital outlets.

"This world teaches us to try to do it all on our own and not rely on anybody else," says frontman Michael "Fitz" Fitzpatrick. "Life is hard and sometimes you just gotta ask for a little help."

"I Need Help!" follows the previously released singles "123456" and "Don't Ever Let Em." The currently untitled new album is due out later this year. It's the follow-up to 2016's self-titled effort, which spawned the smash hit "HandClap."

Fitz and the Tantrums will hit the road this summer on a co-headlining tour with Young the Giant, which launches in June.
