Foo Fighters Announce Full 2015 Tour

Image Courtesy of Ringo StarrWith their album Sonic Highways now released, it was only a matter of time before Foo Fighters announced a major tour. That time is now, as the band has revealed plans to embark on a full North American tour in 2015.

The tour will begin July 4 with the previously announced Independence Day extravaganza at Washington, D.C.'s RFK Stadium featuring Heart, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Buddy Guy, Gary Clark Jr. and LL Cool J, among others. The next date is July 6 in Camden, New Jersey. Foo Fighters will continue touring through an October 7 stop in Memphis, Tennessee.

Tickets to the Foo Fighters 2015 tour, excluding the show at Boston's Fenway Park, will go on sale first via the "Beat the Bots Box-Office Only" pre-sale, which will commence on November 22 at 10 a.m. This pre-sale is aimed at combating scalpers and involved the old fashioned idea of lining up at box offices around the country.  A list of box office locations can be found on the Foo Fighter website.

Online pre-sales for Foo Fighters 2015 tour will begin December 1, and general on sales will begin December 4 and 5, depending on the city. All ticket info can be found on FooFighters.com.
