Dave Grohl may be touring with a broken leg, but that hasn't stopped him from having fun with his situation. Throughout Foo Fighters' current North American tour, Grohl has sat in a giant throne and used his cast to play guitar solos -- and at the Foos' show at Boston's Fenway Park Sunday, he invited his orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Lew Schon, on stage to sing The White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army."
"Holy s***, that's my actual doctor!" Grohl exclaimed as Dr. Schon left the stage to a chorus of "Lew!" chants. "What a bada**!"
Also during last night's Fenway Park show, Foo Fighters' second-straight performance at the famed ballpark, Godsmack frontman and Massachusetts-native Sully Erna joined the band for a cover of Alice Cooper's "School's Out."
You can watch fan-shot footage of both the Lew Fighters and FooSmack on YouTube now.
Foo Fighters will travel to Japan and South Korea for their next two shows on July 24 and 26 before resuming their North American tour on August 12 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
