Foo Fighters, Muse to Headline Japan’s Fuji Rock Festival

Brantley GutierrezMount Fuji is the tallest mountain in Japan, so it makes sense that the Fuji Rock Festival would draw some of the world's biggest rock bands. Foo Fighters and Muse will headline the 19th edition of the festival, which will also feature performances by Catfish and the Bottlemen, Johnny Marr, Motorhead, Of Monsters and Men, Todd Rundgren and Twenty One Pilots.

The initially announced lineup only represents a fraction of the acts at the Fuji Rock Festival, as more 200 bands are expected to perform.

The Fuji Rock Festival hasn't actually been held at Mount Fuji since its inaugural edition in 1997. Since 1999, it has been staged at Naeba Ski Resort in Niigata prefecture.

Fuji Rock Fest 2015 will take place July 24-26. Tickets are available at FujiRock-Eng.com.
