Credit: Hayley MaddenDuring their show Saturday at the Milton Keynes Bowl in England, Foo Fighters formed what they call a "super-duper group." To celebrate what would've been the late Freddie Mercury's 69th birthday, Dave Grohl and company performed Queen and David Bowie's collaborative classic "Under Pressure" alongside Queen drummer Roger Taylor and Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones.
"The Foo Fighters, right now, are living out our rock n' roll fantasy," Grohl tells the crowd after introducing Taylor and Jones. You can watch fan-shot footage of the performance now on YouTube.
The members of Foo Fighters and Queen have long been friends: Grohl and Foo drummer Taylor Hawkins inducted Queen into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. Throughout their tour this summer, "Under Pressure" has been a staple of the Foo Fighters' set list.
Grohl and Jones previously joined forces together with Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme to form the supergroup Them Crooked Vultures.
Foo Fighters will play one more date in the U.K. on Tuesday before resuming their North American tour on Friday in Vancouver.
