Foo Fighters Plot UK Return; Quebec City Show Cut Short by Bad Weather

Credit: Hayley MaddenFoo Fighters were forced to cancel the remainder of their U.K. tour after Dave Grohl broke his leg falling off the stage at a show in Sweden last month. Luckily, the band has announced a trio of make-up dates for this September.

While the Foos won't be playing London's famed Wembley Stadium as originally scheduled, they will play two nights at The National Bowl in Milton Keynes, England on September 5 and 6, as well as Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh September 8. Iggy Pop will open the Milton Keynes shows, while Royal Blood will provide support in Edinburgh.

If you had tickets to the canceled Wembley gigs, you'll be given priority access to tickets for Milton Keynes shows. Likewise, you can participate in a special pre-sale for the Murrayfield Stadium show if you'd purchased tickets for the canceled June Edinburgh performance. Visit FooFighters.com for all ticket info.

Meanwhile, Foo Fighters' North American tour is in full swing despite Grohl's injury, although their show in Quebec City show over the weekend had to be cut short. This time, the cancellation wasn't leg-related -- instead, the show was scrapped due to extreme weather. Life in Quebec reports the Foos only got through four songs before having to leave the stage, which is two more than they got through before Grohl broke his leg at the now-legendary Sweden gig.

On Twitter, the Foos shared an impressive photo of the band playing in a downpour, proclaiming "Quebec City, we'll be back...Mother Nature always wins..."
