Foo Fighters Release Short Documentary on Record Store Day Show

Credit: Brantley GutierrezFoo Fighters have released another documentary, but it's a lot shorter than their eight-hour Sonic Highways series. Instead, the doc is a three-minute clip about the band's performance at the tiny Record Connection shop in Niles, Ohio, on this year's Record Store Day.

The Record Store Day doc features interviews with the Record Connection owner and fans waiting in line to see the Foos in such an intimate space, plus a clip of the band performing "White Limo." The phrase "once in a lifetime" is spoken more than once. You can watch the doc now on YouTube.

Along with performing at Record Connection, Foo Fighters also released a four-song EP called Songs from the Laundry Room for Record Store Day. In addition, frontman Dave Grohl served as the official ambassador for RSD 2015.

A few hours after the Record Connection show, Grohl traveled to Cleveland to perform with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts in honor of their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony airs on HBO May 30.
