Season 40, part two will feature performances by Spoon, The Black Keys and Foo Fighters airing on PBS January 10, January 31 and February 7, respectively.

The new season will begin January 3 with a performance by alt-country group The Avett Brothers. Other artists featured on the upcoming Austin City Limits episode include former Rilo Kiley frontwoman Jenny Lewis, indie darlings Future Islands and emotive singer Sam Smith.

The 40th season finale will be the first ever Austin City Limits Hall of Fame ceremony, which will honor legends Willie Nelson, Buddy Guy and Stevie Ray Vaughan's Double Trouble, among others.
